ACTEC Announces Peter S. Gordon as New President

Washington, DC, March 26, 2025: The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) announced this today Peter S. Gordon He will be president of ACTEC 2025–2026. Gordon is a principal at Gordon, Fournaris & Mammarella, PA in Wilmington, Delaware. He represents the 2024–2025 ACTEC President Susan D. SnyderSenior Planner in Northern Trust’s Regional Wealth Advisory Group in Chicago, Illinois.
Gordon, who has held various roles at the College since his election in 1989, was officially introduced at ACTEC’s “Passing of the Gavel” ceremony on Friday, March 21, 2025 at ACTEC’s Annual Business Meeting in La Quinta, California. He previously served as ACTEC’s Mid-Atlantic Region Regional Chair, Delaware State Chair, and Chair of the Membership Nomination Committee and Practice Committee.
Gordon is a nationally recognized speaker on trust and estate matters and is frequently cited as an authority in the field by publications such as The Wall Street Journal, Forbes Magazine and The New York Times. He is a former chair of the Delaware Bar Association’s Estates and Trusts and Tax Sections.
At the ACTEC 2025 Annual Meeting, ACTEC’s Board of Directors elected the following officers for the 2025-2026 term, who each serve alongside Gordon on the Executive Committee and Board of Directors:
