ABA nominates officers for 2026-2027
The Nominating Committee of the American Bankers Association today finalized the official list of officials to be nominated for election annual assembly of the association scheduled for Oct. 27 in Salt Lake City.
The committee, chaired by John C. Asbury, chief executive officer, Atlantic Union Bankshares Corp., Richmond, Virginia, nominated the following candidates for the ABA positions:
- CHAIRPERSON: Catherine Owen, Executive Chairman, Eagle Bank & Trust Company, and President and CEO, State Holding Company, Little Rock, Arkansas;
- CHAIRMAN-ELECT: James C. Ryan III, president and chief executive officer, Old National Bancorp, Evansville, Indiana;
- VICE PRESIDENT: Thomas J. Fraser, President and Chief Executive Officer, First Mutual Holding Co., Lakewood, Ohio;
- Treasurer: David Osborn, President and CEO, WestStar Bank, El Paso, Texas
The above nominees, along with ABA President and CEO Rob Nichols, will make up the association’s officers.
