ACTEC Elects New Member to the Board of Regents

Washington, DC, March 26, 2025: The American College of Trust and Estate Counsel (ACTEC) announced today that a new Regent was elected to its Board of Regents at its Annual Meeting on March 21, 2025 in La Quinta, California. ACTEC’s Royal Council is the College’s governing body.
The candidate selected for the initial three-year term ending in 2028 is an ACTEC Fellow Tara Anne Pleat.
Fellows have also been selected for a second three-year term ending in 2028: Farhad Aghdami, Shannon K. Barking, Brad Bedingfield, Tami Foley Conetta, Steven K. Mignogna, Benetta Y. Park, Michaelle D. Rafferty, Carolyn Ann Reers, By Steven E. Tryttenand Four Wolves.
“I am pleased to welcome Tara Anne Pleat as the newly elected regent. I look forward to working with Tara and all the members of the board of regents this coming year,” said the ACTEC President. Peter S. Gordon.
President (2023-2024) Robert W. Goldman He chaired the 2025 Selection Committee, including members Professor Gerry W. Beyer, Lora L. Brown, S. Gray Edmondson, Sarah Moore Johnson, Amy K. Kanyuk, Suzanne L. Shier, Kurt A. Sommerand Douglas Stanley.
