Nationwide Retirement Solutions Expands Sales Leadership
Nationwide Retirement Solutions has appointed Barbie Walsh as head of its combined Institutional and Advisor Relations team.
In his expanded role, Walsh will oversee both teams and help advance the company’s strategy in the government and corporate institutional markets. She will report to Brenda Casey Anderson, Associate Vice President of Strategic Relationship Management, Retirement Solutions Distribution.

Walsh previously led the Institutional Markets division and most recently served as Interim Group Head of Advisor Relations.
She has 27 years of experience in the retirement plan industry spanning operations, relationship management and leadership. Walsh joined Nationwide five years ago to help serve and grow the company’s institutional client base. In her previous role as director of institutional relations, she managed some of Nationwide’s largest institutional relationships with ERISA-qualified clients and helped shape the company’s institutional services strategy.
