Enjoy juicy BBQ tempeh “ribs” with a sustainable twist

Tempeh, like tofu, is made from fermented soybeans. It is harder and has a nutty taste. It is rich in proteins and fibersso it’s filling and healthy. Because tempeh is denser and holds its shape better than tofu, you can use it instead of meat in many recipes. You can also marinate it and grill it, just like ribs. Look for tempeh in the refrigerated section of your grocery store’s produce section.
To make tempeh “ribs”
- Cut the tempeh into rib-sized strips.
- Marinate in your favorite barbecue sauce for 1 hour.
- Bake at 350°F for 30 minutes or bake on foil for about 15 minutes.
