DC advances CPA licensure pathways bill

The District of Columbia Assembly unanimously passed Bill 26-494, which would establish an alternative CPA licensure pathway.
Administrative Matters
The bill is awaiting review by DC Mayor Muriel Bowser and then Congress before becoming law. The bill will create a third way allowing CPA candidates to apply for CPA licensure with a bachelor’s degree, two years of experience and the passage of the CPA exam.
