Salesforce, RightCapital, And YCharts Launch Their Own New AI Capabilities (And More Of The Latest In Financial #AdvisorTech – July 2026)
Welcome to the July 2026 issue of Financial #AdvisorTech Latest News – where we look at the biggest news, announcements and key trends and developments coming to technology solutions for financial advisors around the world!
This month’s issue begins with the news. Salesforce, RightCapital and YCharts have all launched their own new AI capabilities. From internal notebooks to meeting notes, analysts to help formulate better planning recommendations and documenting tools to automate the process of addressing desired client goals, speed up the prospecting portfolio analysis process, and prepare proposals. Standalone AI vendors are at risk of industry disruption, indicating that “incumbent buyers are moving back” but advisors are slow to switch software.Leaders in major advisor tech categories are developing their own similar AI capabilities to retain their advisor users and mimic their disruption!
Then, the latest highlights will also feature several other exciting advisory technology announcements, including:
- AI Notetakers like Jump and Zox are developing their own expansion capabilities. From Jump’s new account onboarding automations (which start directly from customer data and action items gathered at a new customer meeting) to Zox’s customer questionnaires (which allow advisors to ask questions about the entire customer base to represent new business opportunities), the capabilities show significant improvements in their own right, but are slow on AI long-term notes. A collision course with traditional CRM systems (ultimately forcing consultants to choose the ones they stick with long-term).
- New package Arca comes out of “stealth” mode with a $48M capital raiseFarther will raise another $150M to fuel its own growth as the new generation of technology-enabled RIA platforms can build enough internal ownership to materially improve advisor productivity and margins.
- WealthReach Raises $1M Seed Round Continued organic growth initiatives are converting more consulting firms to transform their websites from ‘digital marketing brochures’ to new visual websites that AI can use to create more dynamic SEO- and AEO-friendly websites to support the development of their “living site” platform. In the first place, they distinguish themselves in their values to support a different site!?).
Read an analysis of these announcements in this month’s column and a discussion of additional trends in advisory technology:
- Edward Jones takes a minority stake in QuickenAs the company seeks to delve deeper into financial planning and empower its advisors with more tools to support good financial planning conversations with clients… but raising the question of whether Edward Jones needs to invest in Quicken instead of just using the existing MoneyGuide contract, or pursue more “modern” personal finance management solutions like Monarch Money (or simply buy Mint.com before it shuts down)?
- as a Consulting firms continue to invest in data warehousing solutions. To create new layers of AI orchestration, a closer look at what they’re actually building reveals solutions that are surprisingly non-AI in nature, from automating address updates across multiple systems to streamlining billing and consulting payments and improving onboarding processes…begging companies to question whether or not Really Should they invest heavily in centralized data to facilitate their AI initiatives, or are their AI initiatives ultimately becoming a catalyst for establishing more strategic processes and implementing the non-AI workflows they need to better leverage their existing vendors’ APIs?
