Minutes of the Council discount rate meetings of June 8 and 17, 2026

The Federal Reserve Board on Tuesday released the minutes of its latest meetings to review and determine the discount rates provided to depository institutions through the discount window. Today’s minutes include the Council meetings held on June 8 and 17, 2026.
The Board’s process for setting the discount rate is different from the process followed by the Federal Open Market Committee for setting the target range for the federal funds rate.
